The Market Segment Manager is:
— Support the manager to build a capable segment team, and lead the market segment (the allocated application engineers) activities;
— Responsible for identification of skilled application engineers and coordination of further development/qualification (career development and succession planning);.
— Fostering and organisation of knowledge transfer to increase know-how of applications engineers (ASE qualification and experience exchange);
— Responsible for identifying market segment trends and create business opportunities for existing and new products by building right strategy (supported by BA MPG) and execute the resulting strategy to achieve highest growth and profitability and expansion of the Linde market position in RGC;
— Bring right selection of Linde products (& services) to the market adapted to local demands. Budget/achievements review together with the manager;
— Leading the Joint Activity Planning to align RBU demands with BA support and product development.
— leading the application sales for the segment;
— Responsible for Realized Revenue follow-up from reported New Sales and related performance tracking and improvement measures for individual Application Engineers in RGC market;
— Benchmarking the ASE performance and support measures for improvement;
